Madonna Louise Ciccone more commonly known has her star name Madonna, she was born on 16th August 1958 and is most commonly known for her music as well as her acting career, Modanna moved from her home town in Michigan to New York in 1977 to start her careeer in dance however Madonna was also auditioning for different music lables and eventually got signed by Shire Records who relased her self titled album in 1993.
Madonna music career took of and had a hit number of singles throughout the 1980's including 'Like a Virgin' songs like Like a Virgin was able for madonna to become in the pop genre and was a pop icon around the world.

As her music career was taking of Madonna also entered the film industry showing how multi talented she is, as well as winning awards in the music industry madonna was also picking up awards in the film industry.

Towards the end of the 1980's Madonna switched from Shire records to Time Warner ( warner brothers)

During the 1990's Madonna released her most famous album for its lyrical content and depth 'Ray Light' her 7th studio album.

During the 2003 Madonna made her come back from a couple year break and preformed at Americas MTV music awards with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliot this perforce caused a lot of reviews and press as Madonna publicly kissed Britney Spears and Christina Aguiler. A few months after this performance, Madonna featured on one of Britney Spears records 'Me Against The World' this again caused a lot of press on both performers as of what had accred earlier in the year at the Music awards as well as the music video containing images of them nearly kissing again.

During 2004 The Rolling Stones magazine ranked Madonna as 36 on their list of Greatest Artists of All Time.

During 2006 having conquered the music industry, the book industry as well as the film industry, Madonna brought out a clothing line with H & M, H & M also signed Madonna as a model for their company worldwide.

Madonna most recent album Hard Candy released in 2008 was her 7th album to reach number one on the billboard chart. During 2008 Madonna switched form Warner Brothers to signing a $120 million contract with live nation.

Madonna is a role model to all girls showing that they can achieve their dreams, Madonna career was very successfully as has built a very strong fan base throughout the many years.
